j-point system combines sophisticated technology with comfortable
operation.
The j-point
system is based on a client-server architecture. The client software
installed on the customers’ PCs is windows compatible and has
been minimized to only 300 KB. The required download time depending
on the applicable internet connection is between 5 and 40 seconds.
The key function of the client software is the transmission of customer
specific messages utilizing free bandwidth. The playing of videos
is achieved without any waiting time and in superior quality independent
of the internet connection of the user.
The
central data bank server matches the personal interest profile of
a customer with the targeting criteria of an actual campaign and
the list of already played messages. For each customer an individual
playlist is generated, the relevant data is sent to the corresponding
client. For each campaign, a detailed statistic, stating the achieved
contacts and click-through rate, is generated in real time. A very
easy to handle back office is applied to start and administer the
campaigns, manage user data and generate statistics.
